RESUMO: O referido trabalho tem como tema “A crise no sistema Carcerário Brasileiro”. O estudo visa demonstrar os principais problemas encontrados dentro do sistema carcerário e, evidenciar as condições do apenados diante de toda essa crise. Quando mencionamos presos, a primeira coisa que nos vem à mente é a punição, e que por muitas vezes, desejamos a mais rigorosa possível. Com toda essa degradação do sistema carcerário cresce ainda mais a violência dentro e fora das prisões, com inúmeras rebeliões, fugas, e proporcionando mais força a facções criminosas. O Brasil, na atualidade apresenta um número de presos superior à sua capacidade de encarceramento, sendo considerado o terceiro país com maior número de pessoas encarceradas. Com uma análise profunda, o principal objetivo é, identificar as diversas situações que assolam o sistema prisional no Brasil hoje. A presente pesquisa será realizada de forma exploratória por intermédio de métodos indutivo dialético, onde a coleta de dados será realizada através de pesquisas bibliográficas a análise de dados será qualitativa.

ABSTRACT: The aforementioned work has as its theme “The crisis in the Brazilian prison system”. The study aims to demonstrate the main problems found within the prison system and highlight the conditions of the inmates facing this entire crisis. When we mention prisoners, the first thing that comes to mind is the punishment, and that often we want the strictest possible. With all this degradation of the prison system, violence grows even more inside and outside prisons, with countless rebellions, escapes, and providing more strength to criminal factions. Brazil currently has a number of prisoners greater than its incarceration capacity, being considered the third country with the highest number of incarcerated people. With an in-depth analysis, the main objective is to identify the various situations that plague the prison system in Brazil today.
This research will be carried out in an exploratory way through dialectical inductive methods, where data collection will be carried out through bibliographic research and data analysis will be qualitative.
