ABSTRACT: The present work aims to analyze the effectiveness of access to justice through the creation of special civil courts, especially with regard to the primary purpose of these leading to access to the judiciary in a manner facilitated by society. To complement the research, an analysis of the figures presented by the Court of Justice of the State of Paraná – TJPR for 2010 to 2020, with regard to special courts, is carried out. The data of approvals of agreements, all data relate only to the Special Civil Court and also a brief comparison between the above-mentioned data and the principles of the Special Court. After the analysis of the collected data, it is noticeable the work performed by those who work in the Special Court, on the other hand, the number of appeals is expressive, making the principles applied to special civil court are questioned such as procedural economy, low complexity and speed. Due to the high demand for annual recognition actions and the low number of judgments delivered without appeal, I was able to conclude that the speed and low procedural complexity is not such a criterion appreciated by the one who filed an action in the Special Civil Court. Thus, we start from a bibliographical research, entering the analysis of statistical data presented by the TJPR, in order to achieve a quantitative research, whose objective is to analyze the effectiveness of access to justice.
